The ISM Services PMI for the US fell to 55.30 in June from 55.9 in the previous month, beating analysts’ expectations of 54.3.
JOLTS job openings data for May that was released simultaneously also showed better-than-expected readings.
The number of job openings in the United States decreased to 11.254 million in May from 11.40 million in the previous month, above market expectations of 11.0 million.
