Wells Fargo and Goldman Sachs among earnings reporters today
More and more countries decide to partially reimpose lockdowns creating a slight bearish bias in the markets. European futures point to a flat or slightly lower opening of today's cash session. There are no key, market-moving data releases scheduled for today. However, investors will get a chance to tune into Lagarde's speech at 9:00 am BST. US banks will continue to report their Q3 results. Reports from Goldman Sachs and Wells Fargo are among today's highlights. Apart from that, traders should be wary of elevated volatility on GBP as Brexit talks made no progress this week and chatter over UK coronavirus lockdown intensifies.
