Economic calendar: quarterly results from Alphabet, Intel, and Microsoft 📃

On the one before last trading day of this week, investors are set for another batch of important data, this time the focus will mainly be on financial reports. Today, some tech giants, including Alphabet, Intel, and Microsoft, are scheduled to publish their reports after the market closes, and Caterpillar before the US cash session opens.

In the second part of the day, attention will also shift across the Ocean to the USA, where the preliminary Q1 2024 GDP report and weekly unemployment benefit claims are scheduled. The GDP is expected to be at an annualized rate of 2.4%, which is much weaker than the final growth in Q4 2023 at 3.4%.
