Pfizer to report earnings before session open
European index futures point to a flat opening of today's cash session. Asian session was quite muted as traders from Japan and China were off for holidays and there were no major moves. Economic calendar is light today with mostly second tier readings scheduled for release. The US factory orders report is the one to watch today but it rarely triggers bigger market moves.
Apart from that, investors will be offered a lot of earnings reports from US companies. Vaccine manufacturer Pfizer will report Q1 2021 results ahead of the Wall Street session open while video game developer Activision Blizzard will report results after the session closes.
