Earnings season on Wall Street is slowly drawing to a close. Majority of large US companies have already released their financial statements for the first quarter of 2022. However, there are still some interesting companies left to report. Reports from Palantir Technologies (PLTR.US), Plug Power (PLUG.US), Beyond Meat (BYND.US) and Walt Disney (DIS.US) make up highlights of US earnings calendar this week.

While the US earnings season nears the end, the European earnings season is still on the roll as it began slightly later. However, the case with European earnings is that a lot of blue chips companies publish preliminary earnings reports and release of a full report does not have as much of an impact on share prices moves in the short-term. However, it has more value for long-term investors as information is more abundant. Among top European earnings this week one can find Infineon Technologies (IFX.DE), Bayer (BAYN.DE), Commerzbank (CBK.DE) and Deutsche Telekom (DTE.DE)
