Explicação
Esperamos que o sentimento em torno da própria Ethereum possa melhorar gradualmente. A segunda maior criptomoeda pode equilibrar a "fraqueza" em relação à Bitcoin e tornar-se a principal beneficiária de um possível declínio no seu atual "domínio" recorde. Além disso, os comentários do antigo diretor da SEC, Hinman, indicam que o Ethereum ainda tem uma hipótese de ser oficialmente reconhecido como uma mercadoria, tal como a Bitcoin. Isto poderia abrir caminho para que as aplicações adequadas ao BTC criem ETFs à vista que ofereçam exposição ao próprio Etherum.
Após a "merge" em 2022, todos os miners de Ethereum suspenderam a mineração e o fornecimento de ETH acabará por diminuir, tornando o projeto deflacionário. Os criadores criaram o mecanismo de "queima" de forma a que a oferta de ETH diminua quanto maior for o interesse nas transacções na rede Ethereum, fazendo com que a valorização a longo prazo do Ethereum seja a beneficiária do crescimento orgânico da rede.
