Futures markets point to a more or less flat opening of today's European session, following a mixed trading in Asia. Central banks will be in the spotlight in the second half of the week amid a wave of monetary policy decisions. Decision from the Fed on Wednesday, 6:00 pm GMT will be a key one.
When it comes to readings scheduled for release today, there are no major reports awaiting investors. Neither data from Canada, nor today's data from the United States shall have a major impact on the markets. US President Biden will deliver a speech today at 5:45 pm GMT and it could be an event of note as he will discuss implementation of an economic relief package.
