- European indices set for higher opening
- Flash PMIs, rate decisions and GDP reports in the week ahead
- Earnings reports from top US tech companies
European index futures point to a higher opening of the cash session on the Old Continent today. Some relief can be seen in the markets after Israel did not launch its ground invasion of Gaza Strip - a move that would likely lead to an escalation and potential spillover across the region. Equities trade higher while oil and gold pull back.
Economic calendar for today is empty but things get more interesting later into the week. Traders will be offered flash PMI from Europe and US on Tuesday, followed by BoC rate decision on Wednesday. ECB and CBRT will announce their decisions on Thursday while US and Spanish Q3 GDP reports will be released on Thursday and Friday, respectively. Last but not least, earnings reports from top US tech companies will be released throughout the week.
