Shorter US session due to Thanksgiving
European stock market indices are set for a higher opening with DAX futures trading around 40 points above yesterday's cash close. Sentiment was boosted by a slightly better than expected German GDP reading for Q3. Revision showed growth of 0.4% QoQ, compared to 0.3% QoQ in flash release. On year-over-year basis growth reached 1.2% YoY, up from 1.1% in the first release.
Economic calendar for the remainder of the day is empty. Although it is a long Thanksgiving weekend in the United States, there will be a Wall Street session today. However, it will close early at 6:00 pm GMT. Trading will be also shortened on the number of other US markets.
