European PMI revisions
-
Holiday in the United States
European stock market indices are looking to open flat or slightly higher on the final trading day of the week after a solid session in Asia-Pacific. However, traders should keep in mind that liquidity conditions will be thinner today, especially in the afternoon, as US traders are having a long weekend to celebrate Independence Day. Precious metals, WTI and US futures, like US100 or US500, will finish trading earlier today, at 6:00 pm BST. Agricultural goods will not trade at all.
When it comes to data releases scheduled for today, we have revisions to European services PMI for June. However, those PMI revisions rarely have an impact on the markets. Investors should focus on coronavirus-related news as more than 200,000 new cases were reported yesterday for the first time.
