BREAKING: EURUSD on upbeat Lagarde

Christine Lagarde has started her first post-meeting conference as the President of the ECB from a slightly upbeat tone, pointing at signs of economic stabilization. Together with very weak weekly jobless claims from the US this takes EURUSD to 1.1150 – the highest level in more than a month. The DE30 reacts negatively but the move is moderate. Investors will look for suggestions on future moves. The conference lasts until 2:30pm GMT.
