Economic calendar: All eyes on FOMC decision!

  • European indices try to rebound from yesterday's losses
  • FOMC rate decision at 7:00 pm BST

  • ISM services from US

  • DOE report on oil inventories

The start of today's European session on the stock market brings an attempt at a rebound after yesterday's declines. No key macro data will be released until noon, and investors will await the evening FOMC decision on the level of interest rates in the US. The decision will be announced at 7 pm BST, and Fed chief Powell's press conference will begin 30 minutes later. In addition, the ADP report, ISM data from the US, and oil inventory data will be released in the afternoon.

09:00 am BST - Italian Monthly Unemployment Rate.  Expected: 8%. Previous 8%.

1:15 pm BST - ADP Non-Farm Employment Change. Expected: 148k. Previous 145k

3:00 pm BST - ISM Services PMI. Expected  51.8. Previous: 51,2

3:30 pm BST - DOE report on oil inventories.

  • Oil inventories. Expected: -1,100 mb
  • Gasoline inventories. Expected: 0,042 mb 
  • Distillate inventories. Expected: 0,114 mb 

7:00 pm BST - FOMC rate decision

7:30 pm BST - Powell conference
