- European benchmarks open higher despite declines in China
- Conference Board index from the US
- United Airlines (AAL.US) and Logitech (LOGI.US) Q4 2023 earnings reports
Investors have a rather quiet day ahead of them today in terms of macro publications. The current week, full of very important events (ECB decision, BoC, important data from the Eurozone and the US) will start slowly for investors on both sides of the Atlantic. The main reading of the day will be the Conference Board index, which will shed more light on the momentum of the US economy. There are no any important data from Eurozone today, except Poland.
Overall, the weekend's, further US military operation in the Middle East did not push oil prices higher and, as a result, did not translate into weaker sentiment on the indexes. Moreover, another dismal session for indexes in China did not put pressure on profit-taking in Europe. Most stock market benchmarks on the Old Continent opened higher.
