Economic calendar: Earnings and EIA report

• Microsoft Corp. (MSFT.US) and Tesla (TSLA.US) among earnings reporters
•  Canada’s inflation figures
• EIA weekly report is expected to show 1.95 million barrels decline

Economic calendar is quite light with EIA Crude Oil Inventories report and Canada CPI figures being the two noteworthy readings scheduled for release.  When it comes to macroeconomic releases, markets are waiting  for the US weekly initial jobless claims figures, on Thursday, given the renewed economic shutdowns in California, Florida and Texas. On the corporate front, Microsoft (MSFT.US) and Tesla (TSLA.US) will publish their quarterly results.

13:30 BST – Canada’s  CPI m/m. Expected: 0.4%. Previous: 0.3%
15:00 BST – US Existing Home Sales. Expected: 4.77m Previous: 3.91m
15:30 BST - EIA Crude Oil inventories report. Expected – 1.95 mln barrels. Previous: -7.5mln barrels
