  • European indices set for higher opening

  • Durable goods orders and CB consumer confidence data in the afternoon

  • Number of Fed, ECB and BoE members to speak throughout the day

Futures markets point to a higher opening of the European cash session today. DAX futures currently trade near 12,400 pts - around 1.4% above yesterday's cash close. Improvement in moods can also be spotted on the commodities markets, with USD weakening being the prime driver. Brent and WTI rally over 2% each while gold trades 0.8% higher. Cryptocurrencies also caught a bid with Bitcoin trading above the $20,000 mark and 6% higher on the day.
