Economic calendar: light schedule today ahead of tomorrow's PMI reports ๐Ÿ”Ž

Today's economic calendar is light on significant events. The only reports worth noting may be data from New Zealand and Australia, where quarterly CPI data and flash PMI for January will be published at the end of the day. CPI inflation is expected to fall both quarterly and annually (from 5.6% year-over-year to 4.7% year-over-year). The PMI reports in Australia are the first for January, ahead of tomorrow's publications from other countries, including the USA, Eurozone, Germany, and Japan.

However, there are several important releases of quarterly reports from US companies. Today we will see reports from:

  • Johnson & Johnson - before the session
  • Procter & Gamble - before the session
  • General Electric - before the session
