Futures markets point to a higher opening of the European cash trading session. Economic calendar for the European morning trade is empty with no major data releases scheduled. However, things get more interesting in the early afternoon with a number of US reports scheduled for release at 1:30 pm GMT. A flash GDP report for Q4 2022 will draw the most attention and is expected to show a slowdown in annualized growth rate to 2.6%. Energy traders will focus on the EIA report on 3:30 pm GMT as it may trigger some more volatility on the natural gas market.
