  • US indices finished yesterday's trading higher. S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed at record highs gaining 0.58% and 0.84% respectively. Dow Jones added 0.49%

  • Stocks in Asia are trading lower. Nikkei dropped 0.1%, S&P/ASX 200 declined 1.2% and indices from China traded lower as well. On the other hand, Kospi gains 0.2%

  • DAX futures point to a slightly lower opening of the European session

  • Bank of Japan left interest rates unchanged during today's meeting. Funding measures aimed at supporting companies hit by pandemic were extended

  • Fisheries remain the main issue in Brexit talks

  • US FDA is expected to issue an emergency approval for Moderna vaccine

  • US House is going to vote on a stimulus bill today

  • United States is reportedly planning to blacklist dozen more Chinese companies, including top semiconductor company - SMIC

  • Precious metals trade mostly lower but palladium is an exception

  • Oil declines slightly

  • USD and CHF are top performing major currencies while AUD and GBP lag the most

  • Bitcoin trades near $23,000
