Crude inventories in the US dropped by 4.089 million barrels in the week ended July 23rd, following an 2.108 million increase in the previous week and compared with analysts’ estimates of a 2.928 million decline, according to the EIA Petroleum Status Report.
Cushing Crude Oil inventories increased to -1.268 million barrels, following a - 1.347 million barrels decrease from last week.
Gasoline inventories fell by 2.253 million barrels, following a 0.121 million barrels decline in the prior period and below analysts’ expectations of 0.916 million barrels drop.
US distillate inventories decreased to - 3.088 million barrels after decreasing to -1.349 million barrels in the previous week.
