Crude inventories in the US rose by 3.62 million barrels in the week ended July 30, following an 4.089 million decrease in the previous week and compared with analysts’ estimates of a 3.102 million decline, according to the EIA Petroleum Status Report.
Cushing Crude Oil inventories increasedto -0.543 million barrels, from - 1.268 million barrels decrease from last week.
Gasoline inventories fell by 5.292 million barrels, following a 2.253 million barrels decline in the prior period and below analysts’ expectations of 1.78 million barrels drop.
US distillate inventories rose by 0.833 million barrels after decreasing 3.088 million barrels in the previous week.
The publication of today's report did not have a significant impact on the oil prices. WTI Oil (OIL.WTI) continues to trade around the $69,00 level. Source: xStation5
