US Challenger report on job cut announcements for February was released today at 12:30 pm GMT. Report showed job cuts at 84,638 thousand for the previous month, more than 82,307 announced for January. Job cuts in February 2024 were also 8.8% higher than a year ago. However, the market completely ignored the release with USD or US equity index futures barely moving.
