- Trimmed CPI: Actual: 2.9% YoY. Forecast 2.9% YoY; previous 3.1% YoY;
The published report falls close to analysts' expectations with a slight tilt toward a dovish surprise. Expectations for BoC interest rate cuts could theoretically rise after the data reading.
