European indices launched today's cash session flat or slightly. This comes after a mixed Asia-Pacific session, which saw indices from China rally and other indices from the region drop slightly. Cryptocurrencies continue to pull back from recent highs. Antipodean currencies (NZD and AUD) are the best performing G10 currencies, while safe havens (JPY, USD and CHF) lag the most.
Economic calendar for the first part of the day is empty. There will be no important macro reports released during the European trading session or throughout the majority of the Wall Street session. However, two key events of the week are scheduled for this evening - FOMC minutes release at 7:00 pm GMT and release of fiscal-Q4 earnings from Nvidia after close of the Wall Street session (9:20 pm GMT).
