Crude inventories in the US dropped by 7.987 million barrels in the week ended July 9th, following an 6.866 million decrease in the previous week and compared with analysts’ estimates of a 4.359 million decline, according to the EIA Petroleum Status Report.
Cushing Crude Oil inventories dropped to 1.589 million barrels, following a 0.614 million barrels decrease from last week.

US distillate inventories rose by 3.657 million barrels after increasing 1.616 million barrels in the previous week.
