German Ifo Institute released a new set of its indices today at 9:00 am BST. The headline business climate index came at the same level as last motnh figures at 85.7 in September - a higher than 85.2 expected.

- Business Climate: 85.7 vs 85.2 expected (85.7 previously)
- Current conditions: 88.7 vs 88.0 expected (89.0 previously)
- Expectations: 82.9 vs 83.0 expected (82.6 previously)
