Bayer's (BAYN.DE) largest shareholder, Fonds Union, is unhappy with the lack of initiative from supervisory board head Norbert Winkeljohann to spin off the company's consumer unit, German daily WirtschaftsWoche reported. The company's shares are currently losing nearly 1%.

Symrise (SY1.DE) shares are losing more than 7% today following the release of weak fourth-quarter 2022 results. A write-down due to shares in Swedencare AB and disappointing margins last year weighed heavily on Symrise shares on Monday.
