DE30 weakens near important marks

The German benchmark index has lost almost 400 points from Tuesday's high. 

D1 chart

The DE30 has turned around this week just before reaching important resistances (September high and 78.6% retracement), leaving the long-term downtrend intact. A Bearish-Engulfing was formed yesterday after the breakout above the previous week's high failed for the second time.

H1 chart

The DE30 continued the short-term downward move today, reaching a lower low - with the index falling to its lowest level since Friday. Yesterday's break below support at 13,233 may have signalled a change in direction.
