Economic calendar: OPEC+ meeting, ADP report

• European stock markets set for higher opening

• ADP report expected to show 615k jobs gain in August

• PMI revisions from Europe, manufacturing ISM release

Futures markets point to a higher opening of the European cash session today. There are a lot of data releases scheduled for today. However, most of them will be revisions of the August manufacturing PMI data and should not have much of an impact on the markets. Nevertheless, things get more interesting in the afternoon. ADP employment report for August will be released at 1:15 pm BST and it will be a final hint ahead of Friday's NFP. Apart from that, OPEC+ meeting is scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm BST. ISM manufacturing for August and DOE report on oil inventories are two other events worth watching today.

8:55 am BST - Germany, manufacturing PMI for August (final). First release: 62.7

9:00 am BST - Euro area, manufacturing PMI for August (final). First release: 61.5

9:30 am BST - UK, manufacturing PMI for August (final). First release: 60.1

10:00 am BST - Euro area, unemployment rate for July. Expected: 7.6%. Previous: 7.7%

1:15 pm BST - US, ADP employment report for August. Expected: 615k. Previous: 330k

2:45 pm BST - US, manufacturing PMI for August (final). First release: 61.2

3:00 pm BST - US, construction spending for July. Expected: 0.2% MoM. Previous: 0.1% MoM

3:00 pm BST - US, manufacturing ISM for August. Expected: 58.5. Previous: 59.5

3:30 pm BST - DOE report
