VIX trims today rally almost in half to +27% as Wall Street rebounds from multi-month lows

Futures on CBOE volatility index (VIX), measuring expected S&P 500 volatility, based on the options market erases today, massive gains to +27% from +45% at 2:30 PM BST, at the Wall Street open.

Volatility index (VIX) stopped today rally near historically significant 37.5 level, where we can see a number of previous reactions. As for now VIX is traded almost 25% higher but before the Wall Street open, index rallied almost 45% today.

Futures on Nasdaq 100 (US100) trims today loses from 5% to 2.7% now but bears want to retest 18,000 points support level again.
