BREAKING: 1-yr and 5-yr UoM inflation forecasts revised slightly lower

United States - University of Michigan Consumer Survey for December:

  • Consumer Sentiment - Actual: 74.Forecast: 74.0; Previous: 71.8
  • 1-Year Inflation Expectations - Actual: 2.8%. Forecast: 2.9%; Previous: 2.6%
  • 5-Year Inflation Expectations - Actual: 3.0%. Forecast: 3.1%; Previous: 3.2%
 

The EURUSD pair did not react to the publication of the UoM data. The market bulls try to overcome the 1.0400 technical barrier.
