The action is largely intended to counteract waning demand for the company's cars. So far, the program has failed to fully benefit the company in the face of mounting legal pressures that limit the possibility of fully automated cars. Cathie Wood and her Ark Invest funds invested in Tesla shares on Monday, buying 163,421 shares, according to the SEC filing. The company's shares are rebounding nearly 6% during today's session.
